INDOOR GAMES!

Playing dancing Eggs
Here we are again!

Last 27th of April we developed our 5th PE Workshop session. It was about Indoor games. This time was Fernando who took some notes in order to be the reporter. As often, we had a lot of fun. The bad new was four of us couldn't make it. Josep, David, Dani and Carmen missed the session because different reasons. Anyway, I'm positive they will be with us next session, which is coming in three days!

Next meeting highlights:

INDOOR GAMES (Fernando)

Dancing Eggs (María José)

This is a game presented in a real egg-box. There are nine yellow plastic eggs and one yellow wooden egg. The object of this game is to accumulate the maximum amount of points. First a player rolls the red dice. Depending of the what the dice says, players can attempt to be the first to take an egg, drop an egg on the table and then compete to catch it; or even get up and run around the table to try to be the first back to their seat. Dice commands are so but a little bit triky!

Playing Miss Mary Mack
Miss Mary Mack (Marcos)

It’s a clapping game played by children in English-speaking countries. In the game, two children stand or sit opposite to each other and they make different body rhythms while they sing a funny song.

Preparing Difficult Path
Oh, I'm blind! (Imma)

The teacher makes a difficult path with ropes. It’s played in couples. You have to say the correct instructions –Go ahead! Turn left/right…– to your partner in order to achieve the exit of the path without stepping on the borders of the path. The problem is your partner cannot see anything because she or he is wearing blinkers!

Cats and dogs (Dídac)

The group makes a big circle. They are the edges of the place in which the game is developed. At the beginning, there are 3 inside the circle meowing. They are the cats and they are wearing blinkers. Outside the circle there is a pupil barking. She or he is the dog. When the teacher says “The dog comes in the gage!” the dog gets inside and it has to try to get the cats by hearing where they are. Cats must get away from the dog. If the dog tags a cat it must identify it correctly touching her or his face. If the dog misses the identification, the cat must run away again.
